Job summary

Aspire Living & Learning is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) to provide direct support to individuals with developmental disabilities in Bedford, NH. You will assist with daily activities, household tasks, meals, recreation, learning and exercise, while supporting independence and community participation.

Ideal candidates have experience with disabilities, strong communication, and reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• Experience working with individuals with disabilities in a professional setting preferred.
• Basic computer skills; Therap experience a plus.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; empathy and dedication to helping others.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct support with daily activities, including household chores, meal preparation, recreation, learning activities and physical fitness.
• Assist individuals with transportation to community activities; mileage reimbursement may apply.
• Represent needs and input on program planning and implementation for individuals served.
