Job summary

Fitzmaurice Community Services, Inc. is seeking Direct Support Professionals to provide individualized support in a licensed residential facility, helping with daily living skills, personal care, and community engagement while promoting independence and dignity.

We offer paid training, no experience required, benefits, 403b and AFLAC, plus a $500 NADSP certification incentive after 90 days. Shifts total 32 hours per week across weekends and weekdays.

Qualifications

Must be 18 years or older.
Pass and maintain Medication Certification & CPR/First Aid.
Valid U.S. Driver’s License and insurable under company policy.

Responsibilities

Provide intensive individual support and personal care to clients.
Promote independence and daily living/behavior management skills.
Engage clients in structured activities to encourage growth and participation.
Complete time and attendance, daily logs, progress notes, and monthly reports.
Participate in planning for individualized program implementation.
Administer medications and ensure health and safety standards.
Use least intrusive interventions to support clients effectively.
Foster community integration by using public resources and recreational opportunities.
Maintain confidentiality of client information.
