Job summary

Specialized Assessment & Consulting is seeking a part-time Deaf or Hard of Hearing (DHH) Teacher to provide direct instruction to students with hearing impairments at a Sugar Land, Texas high school campus. The role includes attending ARD meetings and consulting with school staff to ensure individualized student support.

The position is in-person on a Sugar Land campus with a 5-student caseload; compensation starts at $47 per hour with potential for additional stipends and benefits.

Qualifications

• Current TEA Deaf or Hard of Hearing Teacher Certification.
• Bachelor's degree or higher in deaf education from an accredited college or university.
• Minimum of 2 years experience providing related services to school-aged children with hearing impairments.

Responsibilities

• Provide instruction to qualifying students with hearing impairments.
• Attend ARD meetings.
• Consult with school staff to support student progress.
