Job summary

ProCare Therapy is seeking a Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing to support middle school students near Manhattan Beach, California. The contract role focuses on grades 6-8 with specialized instruction, inclusion, and collaboration with staff to promote student success. The schedule runs Monday through Friday, 7 a.m.

to 3 p.m., totaling about 37 hours per week. Qualified candidates hold a CA Education Specialist Instruction credential (DH) and signing proficiency to engage students

Job description

This contract position focuses on grades 6-8, providing specialized instruction and support to ensure student success and inclusion in the school community. Enjoy consistency with a Monday to Friday schedule, 37 hours per week from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m., supporting students who truly benefit from your expertise.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university
• Current Education Specialist Instruction credential (Deaf and Hard of Hearing) issued by the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing
• Proficient instructional and conversational signing skills
• Commitment to working exclusively onsite with students in grades 68
