Job summary

You will assist with ADLs, mobility, and use adaptive equipment; maintain records and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to improve patient independence.

Qualifications

• Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) is required.
• Texas OTA license in good standing.
• Ability to lift, transfer, and assist patients as needed.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
• Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as dressing, grooming, and feeding.
• Aid patients with exercises to improve coordination, balance, and strength.
• Provide adaptive equipment and assistive technology to enhance independence.
• Monitor patient progress and report to the occupational therapist.
• Maintain accurate and timely records of patient treatment.
