Job summary

Nimble is hiring a paraprofessional in Indiana for the 2026-2027 school year. Under supervision, you will support students with instructional and behavioral needs to help them succeed. The schedule is 7.5 hours per day, totaling 37.5 hours per week on a 180-day calendar.

You will assist with reading, language arts, math, and computer instruction, help teachers with activities and assessments, maintain records, and supervise lunch, bus duty, and field trips, while following safety rules.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Prior experience working with children desirable.
• Ability to follow instructions and communicate clearly.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of information regarding students, employees and others.

Responsibilities

• Assist students individually or in small groups with reading, language arts, mathematics, and computer instruction.
• Assist in implementing programs and preparing classroom activities.
• Aid in administration and correction of tests and assessments.
• Maintain records documenting student learning and performance.
• Supervise non-instructional areas including lunch, bus duty, playground, and study hall.
• Accompany students on field trips for supervision.
• Assist with educational materials and activities as needed.
• Support students with daily living activities as required.
