Job summary

Nimble is seeking a K–12 Paraprofessional to support students and instructional staff in a safe, positive learning environment. Under licensed teachers and school administrators, you will assist with instruction, supervision, behavior support, personal care, and other duties to meet students’ needs.

Assignments may include working with individual students, small groups, or entire classrooms in general education and special education settings.

Qualifications

• Requires ability to communicate effectively with students and adults.
• Maintains confidentiality and exercises professional judgment.
• Must meet state, federal, and district paraprofessional requirements.
• Basic reading, writing, mathematics, and technology skills expected.

Responsibilities

• Assist with instructional activities, lesson plans, and classroom routines.
• Provide academic support to individuals or small groups as directed.
• Support reading, writing, and math skills and adapt materials as needed.
• Supervise students in various settings and ensure safety.
• Communicate progress and concerns to supervising staff promptly.
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families as part of the educational team.
