Job summary

Under licensed teachers, you will implement IEPs, adapt materials, reinforce academic and social-emotional skills, and help with personal care and mobility needs while promoting independence and safety.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Interest in supporting students with disabilities in inclusive settings.
• Bilingual Spanish/English preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist teachers and related service providers in delivering instructional support to students with disabilities.
• Adapt instructional materials to meet individual student IEPs.
• Reinforce academic, behavioral, communication, and social-emotional skills through small group or one-on-one support.
• Monitor and support student behavior and social interactions; implement behavior plans as directed.
• Provide health, hygiene, and personal care support as needed while promoting independence.
• Prepare instructional materials and assist with classroom organization and data collection.
• Participate in IEP meetings, staff development, and team meetings.
