Qualifications

• Must be able to pass Fingerprint background check, CORI, DPPC and Driving background checks.
• Valid Driver’s License required.
• Valid MAP certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual and small group instruction in self-care and social skills.
• Provide direct care for ADLs and group activities.
• Communicate respectfully with families and staff.

Skills

Experience working with Individuals with ID/DD

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Excellent interpersonal skills

Ability to work in a team environment

Education

Bachelor’s or Associate degree in a related field with two years of experience, or HS diploma and five years of related work experience
