Job summary

Help at Home is seeking an Enhanced Direct Support Professional (DSP) to provide one-on-one support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in home and community settings, helping them live as independently as possible.

This role promotes health, safety, and personal growth, offers starting wages of $25-$30 per hour, paid training, health benefits, paid time off, mileage reimbursement, and opportunities for career advancement through 40+ years of trusted care experience.

Qualifications

• RN/LPN license, CNA, RBT, BCaBA, or bachelor’s degree in psychology/education/social work etc.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care and individualized support in home and community settings.
• Implement ISP, BSP and goals identified in the Individual Support Plan.
• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) and household tasks.
• Support independence, living skills, communication, and community engagement.
• Utilize positive behavior support techniques and crisis intervention when needed.
• Monitor and report changes in behavior or medical condition.
• Complete accurate documentation including daily notes and data.
• Transport individuals to appointments and activities.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members.
• Maintain compliance with PA ODP 6100 regulations and privacy policies.
