Job summary

The Boyd Group in Birmingham, AL seeks an Auto Body Technician to restore vehicles to pre-accident condition through meticulous assessment and repair. You will disassemble, repair, and reassemble parts while contributing to speed, quality and customer excellence.

You will work with a team to meet KPIs, using cutting guns, plasma cutters, jacks, hammers, and welders, ensuring high workmanship standards. Hourly pay with potential bonuses included.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical school or apprenticeship preferred.
• Ability to read job orders and work with minimal supervision.
• Strong understanding of tools and procedures used in auto body repair.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and repair vehicles to restore pre-accident condition.
• Disassemble, repair, and reassemble damaged areas with quality workmanship.
• Realign chassis and replace or repair parts as needed; ensure proper paint finish.
