Job summary

Aptiv Incorporated is seeking a Part-Time Employment Trainer in Wisconsin to support participants at their work sites. The role emphasizes helping individuals learn job duties, improve punctuality, and gain independence through targeted on-site guidance.

The position requires at least 18 years old, a preferred driver’s license, and the ability to work split shifts, including evenings and weekends. Flexible scheduling supports a meaningful community impact and professional growth.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Driver's license preferred.
• Basic knowledge and understanding of issues that affect people with disabilities.
• Experience using Microsoft Office.
• Access to non-public transportation including required insurance coverage.
• Ability to work split shifts, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with participants at their work site.
• Help participants learn work skills such as punctuality, appropriate dress, and following directions to their individual employment goals.
• Provide on-the-job support by helping them adjust to a new worksite, guiding them in learning and understanding their job duties, supplementing their work as necessary, and systematically fading direct support.
• Occasionally provide transportation for participants to work, while also encouraging them to learn about other forms of transportation, and pedestrian safety skills, and assist with wheelchairs.
