Job summary

Aleutian Pribilof Islands Association, Inc. is seeking an ETR Employment and Support Services Intern to gain hands-on experience in employment and training case management.

You will assist with participant meetings, documentation, employment planning, and outreach activities supporting Alaska Native and American Indian tribal members. Under supervision, you will learn motivational interviewing, strengths-based goal setting, and confidential data entry in a culturally responsive setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Preference for Certificate in Rural Human Services or related field.
• Familiarity with data entry and basic computer tasks.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.

Responsibilities

• Assist with participant meetings and documentation.
• Support employment planning and outreach activities for Alaska Native and American Indian communities.
• Gain experience in employment and training case management and motivational interviewing.
• Contribute to project coordination and quality improvement efforts as agreed with supervisors.
