Job summary
CN Guidance and Counseling Services inspires and catalyzes recovery for people living with mental health and substance use conditions through innovative and person-centered integrated clinical treatment, counseling, housing, and support services. We are seeking an Employment Specialist in Tennessee to help clients obtain competitive employment aligned with their vocational goals.
The role emphasizes field work, IPS model, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to support clients’
Qualifications
- Requires Associates degree.
- Experience helping adults with behavioral health and substance use preferred.
- Must have NY driver license with safe driving record.
- Must pass SSA clearance to access government sites.
Responsibilities
- Engage clients to build trusting relationships toward competitive employment.
- Develop Individualized Work Plans and assist with employment goals.
- Assist with resumes, applications, interviews, and career planning steps.
- Perform job development and employer outreach to identify opportunities.
- Support clients in maintaining and advancing employment, including coping and problem‑solving on the job.
