WORK Inc. is seeking an Employment Specialist to help parents in Rhode Island Works programs overcome barriers and achieve career goals.

You will work one-on-one with job seekers, building confidence, developing career plans, and connecting them with training opportunities to secure meaningful employment. You will collaborate with local businesses to create inclusive hiring opportunities, support clients in overcoming barriers, and document progress in Salesforce, ensuring accurate case notes

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required or preferred in human services or related field.
• Experience in human services, workforce development, or case management.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.
• Strong communication, organization, and case management skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one career planning, resume development, and job search assistance.
• Deliver job readiness training focused on confidence, workplace skills, and interview prep.
• Maintain case notes and client documentation using Salesforce.
• Connect clients to community resources, training opportunities, and educational options.
