Responsibilities

  • Performing background reviews and screening of Correctional Officer applicants in accordance with qualification guidelines and Criminal Justice Standards requirements
  • Ensuring applicant information is entered correctly into the ATS database
  • Working directly with Correctional Officer applicants to ensure rosters contain qualified candidates for interviews
  • Generating reports in the HR-Payroll System to verify prior service with State Government
  • Maintaining files and databases for tracking and compiling reports for compliance
  • Using internal databases: ATS, EMS, OSC Integrated HR Payroll System, DCIN, Workday, Indicum, Smartsheet, Microsoft Office, and other applications to perform duties
  • Maintaining certification as a certified DCI operator; attending and recertifying as necessary
  • Full-time schedule (40 hours per week) with benefits; occasional overnight travel and overtime as needed
