Job summary

Lunaria Partners, an entrepreneurial law firm, seeks an experienced Employment Solicitor to join a senior, supportive team. You’ll advise SMEs and larger businesses on the full range of employment issues, from day-to-day advisory work to restructures, TUPE and tribunal matters.

The role is fully remote, with a relaxed but well-organised, tech-driven environment. You’ll contribute to growth, collaborate with senior lawyers, and draft senior employment agreements and related contracts, including

Qualifications

• England and Wales-qualified employment lawyer.
• 10+ years' experience preferred.
• Tech-savvy with interest in AI tools.
• Strong relationship-building and drafting skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day employment law support to SMEs and larger companies.
• Advise on restructures and redundancies, including collective redundancies.
• Oversee discrimination and whistleblowing cases.
• Draft and advise on director service agreements, contracts and consultancy agreements; strong knowledge of employment status and IR35.
• Manage disciplinary and grievance processes and senior executive severances.
• Handle complex tribunal work.

Job description

This is a rare opportunity for an experienced Employment Solicitor to join an entrepreneurial law firm as part of a senior, supportive employment team.

The Opportunity

You’ll advise SMEs and larger businesses on the full range of employment issues, from day-to-day support through to restructures, TUPE transfers, senior exits and complex tribunal work. The team is made up mainly of senior lawyers who support one another, so you’ll have colleagues to work through the harder questions with.

The firm has been remote from day one and describes itself as relaxed and informal but well organised. It’s a tech-driven, agile business that gives its lawyers the tools to work efficiently and keep a real balance. It is a fast growth firm with ambitious future plans. You’ll have a role in shaping that growth, with no politics and no bureaucracy.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day employment law support to SMEs and larger companies.

About You

You are an England and Wales-qualified employment lawyer, ideally with 10+ years’ experience, and the following attributes:

• A commercial mindset, with strong relationship-building skills and a practical approach to advice.
• A tech-savvy, self-starting attitude, with interest in using AI tools.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft 365 and the ability to navigate SharePoint.
• Close attention to detail in drafting.
