Chubb is seeking a Claims Examiner in Finance to work from our Simsbury, CT and Windsor, CT offices. The role focuses on Employment Practices Liability and involves collaboration with defense counsel and insureds to resolve discrimination and workplace-related claims.

The position emphasizes strong communication, analytical skills, and independence, with a collaborative team environment and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• College degree is required.
• JD is helpful, but not required.
• Minimum 2 years' work experience handling claims of comparable complexity or in a legal position.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Complete accurate and timely coverage, liability and damage investigations and evaluations.
• Establish, document and execute strategies for early, cost-effective resolution of pre-litigation claims.
• Represent the company at meetings with management and partners, including virtual mediations.
• Utilize technology systems to track and manage caseload efficiently.
• Build and maintain productive relationships with clients, underwriters and agents.
• Ensure compliance in investigation, coverage, loss assessment and case management.
