Employment Partner | Fully Remote, Los Angeles | $200,000 to $300,000

Being told you'll make partner once you've built a book is a strange thing to hear after ten years of billing every hour anyone asked for on other people's clients.

This Los Angeles partner seat doesn't come with that condition. No book needed. Employment is the busiest corner of this national defense firm's California practice and the files are already there, waiting for someone senior to run them. It pays $200,000 to $300,000, the partner target is 1,800 hours with a bonus at the end of the year, and you'd work from home, turning up at court or the office when a file calls for it.

What lands on you:

• PAGA notices and wage and hour class actions, from the first letter to mediation
• FEHA claims of every kind, harassment, retaliation, wrongful termination, discrimination
• Associates of your own, and time set aside to teach them
