Job summary

Confidential Employer in Encino/Los Angeles area seeks an experienced employment litigator to represent employers in complex matters. Hybrid schedule with three days in the office and two days remote, along with competitive compensation based on experience.

3+ years as an attorney and 1+ year defense-side employment litigation experience required; active California Bar membership is a must. You will work with a skilled team on discovery, motions, depositions, and court appearances.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as an attorney.
• 1+ year of defense-side employment litigation experience.
• Experience representing employers, management, or other management-side clients.
• Strong legal research, writing, analytical and advocacy skills.

Responsibilities

• Represent employers and management in employment litigation matters.
• Handle cases involving a broad range of labor and employment law issues.
• Manage litigation through discovery, motions, depositions, hearings, and other stages.
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery, and other legal documents.
• Conduct legal research and develop effective litigation strategies.
• Take and defend depositions and participate in hearings and court appearances.
• Work directly with clients to understand business objectives and provide practical guidance.
• Collaborate with experienced attorneys and contribute to successful outcomes.
• Take increasing ownership of matters as experience grows.
