Location
This is an on‑site role based in the Augusta, GA area, offering the opportunity to work closely with attorneys, clients, and litigation support staff in a professional law firm setting.

Candidates must be licensed to practice law in Georgia and have 2+ years of employment litigation experience. Wage and hour, workplace disputes, discrimination, retaliation, harassment, restrictive covenant, or employer‑side litigation experience is preferred.
Job Description
- Represent clients in employment litigation matters, including workplace disputes, discrimination, retaliation, harassment, wage and hour, and related claims.
- Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery requests, discovery responses, position statements, correspondence, and other litigation documents.
- Conduct legal research and develop litigation strategies in partnership with supervising attorneys and clients.
- Manage discovery, document review, case deadlines, and case preparation from early stages through resolution.
- Assist with depositions, hearings, mediations, settlement discussions, and trial preparation.
- Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, courts, and internal team members in a professional and responsive manner.
- Support a broader litigation practice as needed, including general civil litigation and business‑related disputes.
- Maintain strong organization, attention to detail, and follow‑through across an active caseload.
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor from an accredited law school.
- Active Georgia Bar license in good standing required.
- 2+ years of employment litigation experience required.
- Experience with wage and hour disputes, workplace investigations, discrimination, retaliation, harassment, restrictive covenants, or employer‑side litigation preferred.
- Strong legal research, writing, drafting, and analytical skills.
- Experience handling discovery, motions, pleadings, and litigation deadlines.
- Ability to work on‑site and collaborate closely with attorneys, clients, and staff.
- Professional, responsive, detail‑oriented, and able to manage multiple matters in a busy law firm environment.
