Job summary

Jackson Lewis P.C. seeks an associate attorney for its Riverside, CA office to defend and litigate employment-related matters. You will advise employers, train teams on labor law issues, and represent clients in court, arbitration, and mediations, including class/collective actions.

CA Bar admission in good standing and strong communication skills are essential. We value the ability to manage multiple matters in a fast-paced environment, with a commitment to professionalism and teamwork.

Qualifications

• JD from ABA accredited law school with excellent academic credentials.
• 4-9 years of employment law experience preferred.
• Current CA Bar admission in good standing.
• Understanding of current agency procedures.

Responsibilities

• Defend and litigate lawsuits involving employment-related claims.

This position is for an Associate attorney for the firm’s Riverside, CA office.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Defend and litigate lawsuits involving a broad range of employment-related claims and agency charges
• Advise, counsel, and train employers on various employment and labor law issues
• Class Action/PAGA experience preferred but not required
• Represent employers in court or arbitration, before administrative agencies, and at mediations in employment matters, including class/collective actions and discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wage and hour, contract, employment tort, and non-compete cases

For California, the expected salary range for this position is between $215,000 and $262,500. The actual compensation will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law. This position is also eligible for annual bonuses.
