Morgan & Morgan, P.A. is seeking an experienced Paralegal to support the Employment Law team. You will work closely with a lead attorney and a Litigation Paralegal to provide comprehensive litigation support.

The role requires strong organizational skills, federal court familiarity, and the ability to manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment. On-site position with a competitive benefits package is offered.

Qualifikationen

• Associate degree or equivalent preferred.
• At least 2+ years of experience in legal services under an attorney or in a law firm.
• Completion of a nationally accredited paralegal program preferred.
• General Litigation Experience, preferably in federal court.
• Knowledge of motions, discovery, evidence, and court rules/procedures.
• Highly organized with ability to manage multiple deadlines.

Aufgaben

• Prepare pleadings, motions, affidavits, complaints, and legal memoranda.
• Organize exhibits, documents, evidence, briefs, and appendices.
• Interface with Administrative Agencies, including EEOC.
• E-file court documents in federal and state court.
• Prepare discovery documents, interrogatories, and responses.
• Draft and serve summons.
• Prepare deposition and hearing binders and exhibits.
• Draft pleadings, motions, and appellate documents and file with the court.
• Interface with clients to keep them informed and obtain necessary documents for discovery.
• Gather information from diverse sources.
• Liaise between attorneys and internal/external third parties.
