Job summary

Morgan & Morgan, P.A. is seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal to join our team. You will work closely with attorneys, providing support before, during and after trials, including preparing documents, e-filing, and coordinating depositions.

Ideal candidates bring 2+ years of litigation experience, an associate degree or paralegal certification, and excellent written and verbal communication skills. This is an on-site role offering comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Associate degree, certificate, or equivalent work experience (preferred).
• 2+ years of litigation experience (required).
• Nationally accredited paralegal program (preferred).
• Experience in Personal Injury, WC, Premises, or related areas (preferred).
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage workload with minimal supervision.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; calendaring depositions, mediations and hearings.
• Knowledge of motions, discovery, evidence, and court procedures; highly organized.
• Extensive computer and database expertise; Word, Excel, Outlook; 35 wpm+.

Responsibilities

• Prepare legal documents including pleadings, motions, affidavits, complaints, and memoranda.
• E-file all court documents in state and federal court.
• Communicate with clients, court, counsel, and others.
• Conduct legal research and factual investigation.
• Prepare discovery documents, interrogatories, and responses.
• Draft and serve summons; coordinate and summarize depositions.
• Prepare trial binders and exhibits; draft appellate documents.
• Perform administrative duties: calendars, deadlines, case files, logistics.
• Maintain pleadings and discovery indexes; organize exhibits and evidence.
• Aid attorney with interrogatories and discovery requests; liaise with trial teams.
