Mercor connects elite creative and technical talent with leading AI research labs. This remote contract position seeks a Legal Expert to evaluate AI-generated responses in employment law contexts and provide feedback to improve model behavior.

Ideal candidates hold a U.S. JD or LL.B./LL.M., are licensed to practice in the U.S., and have strong legal research and writing skills. Immediate start with rolling applications is expected.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of employment/labor law experience.
• J.D. (U.S.) or LL.B./LL.M. from an accredited law school.
• Licensed to practice law in the U.S. (active or inactive).
• Strong experience in legal research and legal writing.

Position: Legal Expert Type: Contract Compensation: $100–$150/hour Location: Remote Commitment: 6–15 hours/week

Qualifications Must-Have

• 2+ years of professional experience in employment/labor law.
• J.D. (U.S.) or LL.B./LL.M. from an accredited law school.
• Licensed to practice law in the U.S. (active or inactive).
• Strong experience in legal research and legal writing.
• Excellent written communication skills with high attention to detail.

Start Date

• Immediately ; applications reviewed on a rolling basis.
