Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school is required.
• Active license to practice law in SC is required.
• 2+ years of employment law experience preferred.
• Strong litigation and legal research/writing skills essential.
• Experience handling employment disputes from inception through resolution preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to independently manage matters while collaborating with a team.

Responsibilities

• Handle employment law matters from inception through resolution.
• Represent clients in employment-related litigation and disputes.
• Conduct legal research and prepare pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents.
• Manage discovery, depositions, mediations, hearings, and trial preparation.
• Advise clients regarding employment-related laws, policies, and workplace disputes.
• Analyze claims involving wage and hour issues, discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wrongful termination, and other employment matters.
• Develop case strategies and communicate recommendations to clients.
• Work closely with attorneys and support staff to efficiently manage a caseload.
• Maintain strong client relationships and provide responsive, practical legal advice.
