Job summary

Jobot is seeking an attorney with 3–5 years of employment law experience to join its team in Omaha, Nebraska. The role blends litigation and advisory work, advising clients on compliance, drafting documents, and representing clients in hearings and investigations.

Qualified candidates will handle matters across federal, state, and local employment laws, drafts of agreements and policies, and lead client trainings while maintaining a proactive, service-oriented approach to complex employment

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in employment law.
• Litigation and advisory work for clients.
• Drafting and reviewing employment documents and advising on compliance.
• Representing clients in administrative proceedings and litigation.

Responsibilities

• Advising employers on compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws
• Drafting and reviewing employment agreements, handbooks, policies, and procedures
• Representing clients in administrative hearings and investigations
• Handling employment litigation including discrimination, harassment, wage/hour, and wrongful termination
• Advising on labor relations and conducting workplace investigations
• Providing proactive legal advice and updating clients on changes in employment law
• Leading client training on key employment topics such as compliance and harassment prevention
