Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in psychology, social work, criminal justice, sociology, vocational rehabilitation, counseling, or related Human Services field.
• Certified Psychiatric Rehabilitation Practitioner in Virginia or equivalent credential.
• One year of clinical mental health experience within the past seven years.
• Must meet Medicaid requirements for Qualified Mental Health Provider.
• Valid driver's license and safe driving record.
• Background checks including fingerprints, CANIS, and drug test may be required.

Job description

RESPONSIBILITIES

Provides various vocational services for the purpose of enhancing the employability of individuals with mental illnesses and co-occurring disorders whose ultimate goal is to enhance his/her recovery through competitive employment in community work settings; provides job development services; provides ongoing support to individuals who are actively seeking employment or have been hired in the community; assists individuals in pursuing education and training; and coordinates assessment and work adjustment activities with the Department of Rehabilitative Services; develops opportunities for supported employment and/or volunteer work. Other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS

Minimum Requirements

• M1: Bachelors degree in psychology, social work, criminal justice, sociology, vocational rehabilitation, counseling, or other approved Human Services degree
• OR
• Certified psychiatric rehabilitation practitioner in Virginia
• M2: One year of clinical experience within the past seven years providing mental health services
• M3: Must meet Medicaid requirements for Qualified Mental Health Provider
• M4: Valid drivers license and safe driving record
• Fingerprints, State and FBI criminal record reports, drug test, and central registry (CANIS) report will be required upon request. Our Agency maintains a drug-free workplace.

$44,825 - $77,617
