Danville-Pittsylvania Community Services is seeking a Behavioral Health Liaison to assist individuals of all ages who do not meet ongoing service criteria. You will triage, assess, and link clients to appropriate community-based behavioral health resources, while providing targeted support for housing, education, risk assessment, and disease prevention.

Position involves on-site sessions in individual, group, and family formats; agency maintains a drug-free workplace.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in a human services field or Virginia PRP certification.
• Valid driver's license and safe driving record.
• Fingerprints, State and FBI background checks, CANIS report, and drug test may be required.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Assists individuals, children, adolescents, and adults, who have presented to Rapid Access and did not meet criteria for active on-going services.; triages and then provide linkage, appropriate assessments and collaboration with community resources to assist the individual in receiving the appropriate behavioral services; provides specialized services to meet a variety of individual needs such as, but not limited to, housing, education, risk assessment, and prevention of infectious disease; sessions may be individual, group, and family settings on-site.

REQUIREMENTS

• M1: Bachelors Degree in Psychology, Social Work, Sociology, Criminal Justice, Vocational Rehabilitation, Counseling, or other approved Human Services degree, or a certified psychiatric rehabilitation practitioner in Virginia
• M2: Valid drivers license and safe driving record

Fingerprints, State and FBI criminal record reports, drug test, and central registry (CANIS) report will be required upon request. Our Agency maintains a drug-free workplace.

ANNUAL SALARY RANGE

• $44,825 - $77,617
• 5% Increase for Qualified Mental Health Professional
• Excellent Fringe Benefits
