Job summary

Chimes of Virginia, Inc. in Virginia seeks a dedicated employment services coordinator to provide job development, placement, training, and coaching for individuals with disabilities in Martinsville, Danville, and surrounding Franklin County.

You will deliver career skills and life skills training, support employment goals, and build natural relationships between employers, coworkers, and supported employees.

Qualifications

Hourly Wage: $23.00, plus mileage-Full Time/Flexible Hours Martinsville/Danville/Franklin County Provides individualized employment services for persons with disabilities and others with significant employment barriers. Supports job development, placement, training, coaching, and long-term employment success based on customer needs.

PRIMARY JOB FUNCTION(S):

REQUIREMENTS:

• Understanding of confidentiality requirements.

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:

• Experience with behavior change procedures or intervention programs.
• Experience in vocational rehabilitation, supported employment, or human services.
• Bilingual skills preferred.

EDUCATION:

High school diploma required; associate or bachelor's degree in related field preferred.

EXPERIENCE:

Minimum two (2) years of employment services, case management, coaching, or related experience preferred.

NOTE:

At the discretion of the Personnel Officer, additional related experience and/or education may be substituted instead of the requirements specified above under Education and Experience.
