Join the Trudeau Center’s Transition Program and make a meaningful impact by helping high school students with disabilities explore employment opportunities, develop job skills, and build confidence.

What You’ll Do

You will provide hands-on job training and support to students at various work sites in the community. Responsibilities include coaching students through interviews, assisting with on-the-job tasks, advocating for workplace accommodations, and collaborating with local businesses to promote inclusive employment.

Who You Are

• You possess an associate degree and a strong sense of purpose.
• You believe in inclusion and person-centered support.
• You enjoy working with teens and young adults.
• You are organized, adaptable, and quick on your feet.
• You are a skilled communicator and relationship-builder.
• You have a valid driver’s license, a reliable vehicle, and are willing to travel between sites.

Bonus Points If You Have

• Experience working with people with disabilities.
• Training in job coaching or employment supports.
• ACRE or CESP certification (or willingness to obtain it within a year, with support from us).
