Are you looking for a role where you can make a real impact and enjoy your work? Join the Trudeau Center’s Transition Program and help high school students with disabilities explore the world of employment, gain job skills, and build confidence along the way.

What You’ll Do:

You’ll be out in the community, providing hands-on job training and support to students at various work sites. One day, you might be coaching someone through their first interview; the next, you’re helping them master on-the-job tasks or advocating for workplace accommodations. You'll also work directly with local businesses to create inclusive employment opportunities. This role is equal parts mentor, coach, problem-solver, and cheerleader—and it’s never boring.

Who You Are:
  1. You’ve got an associate degree and a strong sense of purpose
  2. You believe in the power of inclusion and person-centered support
  3. You’re energized by working with teens and young adults
  4. You’re organized, adaptable, and quick on your feet
  5. You’re a great communicator and relationship-builder
  6. You’ve got a valid driver’s license, a reliable vehicle, and a willingness to travel between sites
Bonus Points If You Have:
  1. Experience working with people with disabilities
  2. Training in job coaching or employment supports
  3. ACRE or CESP certification (or the willingness to get certified within a year—we’ll help you with that)
Why This Job Rocks:
  1. You’ll be part of a mission-driven team with over 60 years of impact
  2. Every day is different, rewarding, and meaningful
  3. You’ll get to build real connections—with students, families, and employers
  4. You’ll have the freedom to be creative and resourceful in your work
Benefits at Trudeau:
  • 13 Paid Holidays
  • Vacation, Sick, and Personal Time
  • Medical, Dental & Vision
  • Health Reimbursement Account (HRA)
  • Employer Paid Life Insurance/Voluntary Life Insurance
  • Voluntary Long-term Disability Insurance
  • 403(b) Retirement Savings Plan
  • Tuition Reimbursement
