Goodwill of Central and Coastal Virginia is seeking an Employment Coach to support individuals with disabilities within the Group Enclave model of Supported Employment. You will assess clients, provide coaching at work sites, and help develop service plans aimed at achieving employment goals.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED and at least one year of related experience. Background checks and proficiency with Microsoft Office are required, with no supervisory duties.

Formación

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year experience in a related field is required.
• Background checks (state and federal, sex offender) are required.
• Ability to operate PC and databases; proficiency with Microsoft Office including Word and Outlook.

Responsabilidades

• Assesses and evaluates client skill level and support needs in a person-centered approach to aid in job training and task assignment.
• Provides job coaching and supervision of program participant work site activities.
• Develops service plans to improve work performance and employment outcomes.
• Maintains rapport and communication with referral agencies regarding progress of candidates.
