Job summary

rideRVT is hiring immediately for a Class B Diesel Mechanic – 2nd Shift (3:30 PM–12:00 AM). This role offers a 40-hour week, regular days off, and a new facility with state-of-the-art work areas.

Responsibilities include preventive maintenance on diesel and CNG buses, autos, and light trucks; minor repairs; parts replacement; road testing. Candidates must hold a CDL Class B with Passenger Endorsement (Air Brake restriction lifted) and PA State Inspection license. Training will be provided.

Qualifications

• Experience working with diesel and CNG buses, autos, and light trucks.
• Knowledge of preventive maintenance schedules and inspections.
• Familiarity with road testing and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on Diesel and CNG buses, autos, light trucks, and equipment.
• Minor mechanical repairs: tires, brakes, batteries, belts, hoses.
• Parts replacement on vehicle operating systems.
• Road test and service of buses to ensure safe operation.

• Road test
• Position requires a validCDL class B with Passenger Endorsement and Air Brake restriction lifted as well as PA State Inspection license of the appropriate class.

Will train the right candidate foreachcertification.
