RVTA is hiring a Class B Diesel Mechanic for the 2nd shift (3:30 PM–12:00 AM). The role involves preventive maintenance on diesel and CNG buses, plus autos and light trucks.

Candidates must hold a CDL B with air brakes restriction lifted and a passenger endorsement, with training available to obtain the CDL if needed. Responsibilities include minor repairs, tire/brake work, parts replacement, servicing and fueling, and road testing after completion of maintenance.

Qualificações

• Must have valid PA drivers license with CDL B, air brakes restriction lifted and passenger endorsement.
• Willing to acquire CDL if not already held.
• Experience with diesel and CNG buses is preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Perform preventive maintenance on Diesel and Compressed Natural Gas Buses as well as autos and light trucks and equipment.
• Minor mechanical repair work: tires, brakes, batteries, belts & hoses.
• Parts replacement on vehicle operating systems.
• Servicing and fueling of buses, cars, vans and trucks.
• Road testing after repairs or maintenance.
