Job summary

Elevate is seeking an Employment Attorney in the DC metro area (Arlington, onsite) with 5–8 years of employment law experience. You will manage a high-volume portfolio of investigations and litigation, conduct witness interviews, and draft clear reports.

Responsibilities include intake, discovery strategy, pleadings, depositions, and settlement support, with EEOC and agency matters also involved. You will work within client workflows and cross-functional teams, delivering concise, client-ready

Qualifications

• Approximately 5–8 years of employment law experience, preferably representing employers.
• Demonstrated workplace investigations experience, including witness interviews and evidence analysis.
• Experience with employment litigation, including discovery, motions, and case management.
• Licensed to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction; JD required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct and support workplace investigations, including harassment, discrimination, and policy violations.
• Develop investigation plans, interview witnesses, collect documents, draft findings and recommendations.
• Support employment litigation matters: intake, discovery strategy, pleadings, depositions, and settlement support.
• Assist with EEOC/state agency matters and related fact development.
• Work within client-approved workflows, playbooks, and escalation protocols.
• Identify and raise legal, reputational, operational, privilege, and escalation issues.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to handle matters at scale.
• Draft client-ready work products with strong legal judgment.
