Job summary

Brandeis University’s Center for Careers and the Applied Liberal Arts is seeking an Assistant Director, Employer Success to strengthen employer and alumni partnerships. The role emphasizes quick, guided, and positive experiences that make collaborating with Brandeis easy, responsive, and valuable for partners seeking talent.

You’ll manage Handshake from the employer side, assist partners with posting jobs/internships, monitor postings, and develop employer resources.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 3–5 years in employer relations, career services, customer success, or a related field.
• Backgrounds in account management, client services, or recruiting coordination are welcome.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple concurrent relationships with consistent follow-through.
• Strong organizational skills, consistent use of CRM tools, and familiarity with Handshake or similar platforms.
• Ability to coordinate across teams to drive outcomes without direct authority.
• Clear, professional communicator in writing, by phone, and in person.

Responsibilities

• Employer Relationship Success: manage partnerships, track partners, and follow‑up.
• Platform and Opportunity Management: own Handshake from the employer side, post jobs/internships, monitor postings and applications.
• Professional Development and Operations: participate in development activities and share employer insights.
