Responsibilities

• Handle a caseload of employer-side workers’ compensation matters from initial evaluation through resolution.
• Conduct legal research, draft pleadings and correspondence, prepare discovery, and appear at Workers’ Compensation Appeals Board hearings and trials.
• Advise employer, administrator, and insurer clients on claim exposure, strategy, and risk management; negotiate settlements and participate in mediations when appropriate.
