Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• Active California Bar admission in good standing.
• 4+ years of employment law experience, preferably on the employer/defense side.
• Strong experience defending employment litigation and/or administrative claims.
• Experience with California wage-and-hour, discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wrongful termination, and PAGA matters preferred.
• Strong legal research, writing, negotiation, and litigation skills.
• Deposition, mediation, arbitration, and courtroom experience preferred.
• Ability to independently manage a caseload and communicate directly with clients.
• Strong business judgment and practical approach to solving client problems.
