Job summary

Living Classrooms Foundation Inc. in Baltimore seeks an Employment and Partnerships Specialist to build employer partnerships, identify job opportunities for program participants, and track employment outcomes.

The role supports job placement and retention through direct liaison with employers and participants. You will engage with local unions and community partners, promote programs at workforce events, and ensure accurate data capture for reporting and evaluation in Birdseye.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in social sciences or a related field or 3–4 years of relevant experience.
• Excellent written communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong communication, organization, and follow-up skills.
• Demonstrated ability to build relationships and engage effectively with diverse stakeholders.
• Strong public speaking and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Promotes Living Classrooms programs and services to employers, community partners, and other stakeholders.
• Maintains regular communication with employer partners to strengthen relationships and identify employment opportunities.
• Outreaches to employers not currently partners to explore collaboration opportunities.
• Supports participants in job placement, including interview preparation and employer communication.
• Liaises between participants and employer partners to facilitate successful matches and employment outcomes.
• Tracks employer outreach and employment outcomes in Birdseye for reporting.
• Documents and maintains records of employer partnerships in Birdseye.
