Job summary

Goodwill Southeast Georgia is looking for a Business & Community Engagement Specialist to cultivate relationships with local employers, identify workforce needs, and align Goodwill’s mission services with community training programs.

You will market Goodwill to employers, coordinate hiring events, and leverage labor market data to improve services while assisting clients with training, job readiness, and barrier removal.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Services preferred; 3+ years in a similar role.
• Must have a valid driver's license, insurance, and own transportation.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal and presentation skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Source and identify new business relationships to serve as referral leads.
• Maintain communication with employer partners and address issues.
• Articulate Goodwill's value proposition to potential partners.
• Develop relationships with community agencies to assist clients.
• Represent Goodwill at events and promote programs to employers.
• Use labor market data to adjust services for effectiveness.
• Ensure accurate skills assessments to match job placements.
