Job summary

Goodwill Southeast Georgia is seeking a Business & Community Engagement Specialist in Savannah, GA. This role focuses on cultivating partnerships with local employers, identifying workforce needs, and promoting Goodwill programs to boost job placements and training opportunities.

The position requires a Bachelor's degree in Human Services (or equivalent) and at least three years of relevant experience, with strong communication skills and the ability to travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Services preferred.
• Minimum of three years’ experience in a similar role.
• Must possess a valid driver's license, own insurance, and independent transportation.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, interpersonal and presentation skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Source and identify new business relationships to serve as recurring referral leads.
• Understand and articulate Goodwill’s value proposition to employer partners.
• Develop and nurture relationships with local community agencies to assist clients.
• Attend events to promote Goodwill programs and build relationships with employers and stakeholders.
• Use data to adjust services and measure outcomes.
• Coordinate with employers and team members to plan hiring events.
• Meet monthly KPIs for individuals served, trained, and placed.
