Job summary

EDSI in Reading, PA seeks a Business Services Representative to act as the liaison between employers and the PA CareerLink system, developing relationships and delivering workforce solutions that support regional economic growth.

The role identifies employer needs, coordinates recruitment activities, promotes PA CareerLink programs, and collaborates with workforce partners to connect businesses with qualified talent while maintaining records and reporting trends.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, HR, or related field, or equivalent relevant work experience.
• Marketing and sales experience preferred
• Customer service experience required
• Ability to work independently with little supervision
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Valid driver’s license and automobile required
• Bilingual preferred (English/Spanish) but not required

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with employers in the service area.
• Conduct employer outreach via in-person visits, virtual meetings, telephone contact, and networking events.
• Assess employer workforce needs and recommend workforce solutions.
• Promote PA CareerLink services to increase employer utilization.
• Coordinate hiring events, job fairs, customized recruitments, and employer information sessions.
• Collaborate with PA CareerLink staff to connect job seekers with employer hiring needs.
• Maintain accurate employer records in required case management and CRM systems.
• Gather, analyze, and report labor market trends and employer feedback for planning and initiatives.
