Job summary

OpenAI, Inc. is seeking an employer brand professional to translate our talent narrative into compelling content, campaigns, and social storytelling.

You will report to the Employer Brand Manager and help candidates understand our work, people, and mission. This hands-on role focuses on writing, content planning, digital storytelling, and coordinating across Recruiting, Marketing, and Internal Communications to deliver a credible candidate experience.

Qualifications

• Excellent written and oral communication skills with ability to translate complex ideas into clear narratives.
• Proven experience in employer brand, communications, social media, or related field (10+ years).
• Ability to edit and adapt content for diverse audiences and channels.
• Strong project management skills and track record of delivering content on schedule.
• Experience collaborating with researchers, hiring managers, and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute employer brand content and campaigns to bring OpenAI’s mission and culture to life for priority talent audiences.
• Manage the day-to-day content calendar across social, publishing, reviews, and deadlines with channel owners and partners.
• Write and edit social posts, employee stories, careers content, and recruiting communications.
• Identify story opportunities and coordinate with researchers and employees to turn experiences into engaging content across formats.
• Partner with Communications and Marketing to adapt content for social channels and maintain a consistent voice.
