Job summary

ConnectOne Bank is seeking a Talent Resources Manager to lead employee relations and the overall employee experience. You will champion a People First culture, advise managers, and ensure policies comply with employment laws while supporting talent management initiatives.

The role involves investigations, onboarding/offboarding coordination, and collaboration with IT and HR operations. A bachelor’s degree in HR or related field and 3–5 years HR experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, business, organizational development, or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in HR.
• Knowledge of EEOC, ADEA, ADA, FMLA and FLSA laws.
• Experience with Google Platform, MS Office, and HRIS systems.
• Strong relationship-building and collaboration with stakeholders.
• Excellent conflict management and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and manage competing priorities.
• Clear communication and coaching skills for all levels of staff.

Responsibilities

• Support the Bank’s People First focus and engagement rules.
• Lead employee relations programs in line with employment laws.
• Advise and coach managers on complex employee relations issues.
• Conduct investigations into employee relations matters.
• Consult with internal clients on HR issues and processes.
• Assist Talent Resources Director with talent management programs.
• Oversee onboarding and offboarding activities with IT and HR operations.
• Propose policy improvements for efficiency and service quality.
• Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations.
