Corning Inc. in Tolleson, AZ is seeking an Employee Relations HR Specialist to lead investigations, assess findings, and drive proactive solutions that foster a compliant, high-performing workplace culture.

The role spans multiple Solar MAP sites as needed and prepares for future HR leadership responsibilities. You will partner with HR leadership to analyze results, develop training, and implement best practices while ensuring adherence to policies and laws.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field.
• 3+ years of HR experience focused on employee relations, investigations, or conflict resolution.
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to handle sensitive situations with discretion and professionalism.
• Knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
• Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Uphold confidentiality and ethical behavior.
• Empathy, growth mindset, and collaboration across teams.

Responsibilities

• Conduct confidential investigations of employee complaints, workplace conflicts, and incidents.
• Gather and analyze evidence, interview involved parties, and document findings clearly.
• Ensure investigations comply with policies and labor laws.
• Analyze findings with HR leadership and identify improvement opportunities.
• Develop processes to share best practices and proactive strategies.
• Promote a fair and inclusive environment aligned with Corning values.
• Manage the ADA accommodation process with Legal collaboration.
• Maintain accurate, confidential records of investigations and resolutions.
• Prepare regular reports and metrics for HR leadership.
