Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living seeks an Employee Relations Specialist to support employee relations cases, HR compliance, workplace investigations, policy interpretation, and risk mitigation across our organization. You'll manage cases from intake to resolution and partner with HRBPs and Legal to promote a compliant, positive work environment.

Qualifications include 1-3 years in HR or Employee Relations, knowledge of U.S.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of HR or Employee Relations experience.
• Experience supporting employee relations cases and investigations.
• Working knowledge of U.S. employment laws; Canadian knowledge is a plus.
• Strong written, verbal, analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Demonstrated judgment, discretion, confidentiality in sensitive matters.
• Bachelor's degree in HR, business or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage employee relations cases from intake to resolution.
• Conduct and support investigations with interviews, fact-finding, and findings.
• Interpret and apply HR policies with performance management and corrective action.
• Assess concerns, identify risk, and provide early intervention.
• Partner with HRBPs, Area HR Managers, Regional HR leaders, Legal, and others.
• Maintain confidential case records and ensure compliance.
