Qualifications

Job Description

The Employee Relations Specialist works directly with the Employee Relations Manager and supports team member performance management through the processes and tools available. This position helps to maintain the day-to-day support and administration of the Employee Relations department. This position contributes innovative, non-traditional ideas to improve processes within the Employee Relations and Team Experience department.

Responsibilities
  • Supports day-to-day administration of Employee Relations activities, including reviewing and providing feedback on corrective actions, performance improvement plans, individual development plans, and support cases to ensure timely responses and effective performance management.
  • Assists with the Quarterly Talent Review process, including succession planning and bench development planning.
  • Maintains the Predictive Index administration and leverages it to support leaders in development conversations.
  • Identifies opportunities to simplify and streamline processes for continuous improvement, particularly in the HRIS system.
  • Produces and submits reports related to Employee Relations and Performance Management activities.
  • Develops training and educational materials for leaders as needed.
  • Assists in timely responses to employee relations claims and supports investigations as necessary.
  • Supports the Exit Interview and offboarding process.
  • Assists in maintaining policies in the company handbooks.
Skills and Knowledge

Effective communication and interpersonal skills, enthusiastic attitude, excellent project management and prioritization skills, Workday knowledge.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in human resources, leadership, or a related field and/or relevant experience; minimum of 2 years in Human Resources Generalist or Employee Relations roles; experience in Learning and Development or leadership development is a plus.

Physical Requirements

Work is performed in an office environment. Must be able to operate standard office equipment, stand, walk, talk or hear, and use hands to handle objects. Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and walk short distances is required.

Salary range: $55,000.00 - $70,000.00 annually.
