Job summary

Valley National Bank in Morristown, NJ seeks an HR leader to advise on policy creation, implementation, and interpretation, ensuring practices meet regulatory requirements and highest standards.

You will conduct thorough investigations into workplace complaints, partner with leaders to develop corrective action plans, manage ADA accommodations, support elimination processes, and oversee case management to identify trends and proactive strategies.

Responsibilities

• Advise the creation, implementation, and interpretation of HR policies and procedures, ensuring Valley's practices reflect the highest standards and comply with all regulatory requirements.
• Conduct thorough investigations into workplace complaints, ensuring fairness, confidentiality, and compliance with bank policies and legal standards.
• Partner with strategic partners and people leaders to develop and implement corrective action plans, ensuring consistency, compliance, and alignment with internal policies and employment laws.
• Manage accommodation requests in compliance with ADA and other applicable regulations. Work with people leaders and associates to implement reasonable solutions that support productivity and inclusiveness.
• Support the bank through position elimination processes, including planning, communication, and compliance with legal and company requirements.
• Maintain oversight of our case management tool, monitor entries for accuracy, and analyze trends and recommend proactive strategies.
