Jobtailor in Wilmington, MA is seeking an experienced Employee Relations professional to manage complex Tier 2 employment matters and advise managers and staff on employee relations issues.

The role includes leading workplace investigations, drafting investigation documents, and partnering with legal counsel on employment-related matters, while delivering trainings on FMLA and ADA. Ideal candidates have 3+ years in HR and 1–2 years in Employee Relations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in Human Resources required.
  • 1–2 years of experience in Employee Relations required.
  • HR Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and advise on multifaceted complex (Tier 2) employment matters.
  • Advise field managers, employees, and internal team members on employee relations issues.
  • Lead complex workplace investigations involving harassment, discrimination, and other high-risk issues.
  • Consult on matters requiring in-depth review, investigation, and/or consultation.
  • Draft investigation-related documents and track cases using the designated case management tool.
  • Identify and report employee relations issues and trends.
  • Consult on complex absence management and ADA cases.
  • Partner with legal counsel on employment-related agency charges or legal matters.
  • Conduct presentations and training for field managers on topics including FMLA and ADA.
  • Lead proactive employee relations initiatives, including C.A.R.E.
  • Communicate with all levels of the organization, including executive leadership.
  • Serve as a role model, ambassador, and teacher of company values, vision, and standards of conduct.
  • Identify and mitigate risk by proposing strategies for resolving employment matters.
  • Recommend and assist with writing and communicating HR policies and procedures.

Requirements
